I believe knowledge should be shared..... Thanks to a few others that have had good positive responses in doing something like this more goodness will grow.
This has been one of my passions in life.... that is in some way to become a part of a great support system that helps many people overcome oppressions. It is amazing how some ordinary people can overcome extraordinary obstacles and accomplish the impossible!
One spark, can ignite the flames, one touch of kindness that understands, one blessed root that might spring nourishment to all the branches.... Like water that perilously seeks its natural depths toward the sea. Neither resisting nor resenting water flows.... its natural course. Only, then .... water upon reaching the sea is raised to the highest by the rays of the sun and so goes the cycle, anew.... Beginning without end, .... To begin, again.....
Helping others in need connect to others that may be able to help would be the answer to many prayers. But, prayers alone are just the beginning.... Those prayers, those good, maybe, brilliant ideas need to be put into action, promoted, propelled.... carried like water flows to the right connections to reach all the branches. Saving ideas must be put into play to work and benefit the people! I hope this web-site is received in the goodness intended and helps all that is possible. So let it be......

GRANDMA'S FAVORITE PET..

How many times have you read about people leaving their fortunes to the IRS or a pet (please, don't get me wrong... I love animals and all nature... and it's nice to be able to arrange for the care of a pet until its passing). I am talking excesses, extreme excesses.
And, God how about Bill Gates and his wife and Warren Buffet?!!!! Did you ever hear anything so CRAZY!!! Billions...! Giving BILLIONS away to 3rd world countries.
I am not against helping ones neighbor or third world countries.... IF AND WHEN.... YOU TAKE CARE OF HOME BASE, FIRST!!! WE ARE STARVING HERE ... IN THE UNITED STATES... THOUSANDS OF STARVING, HOMELESS, SICK,... DYING PEOPLE THAT NEED HELP WITH THE BASIC NECESSITIES OF LIFE!
WHAT? ARE THOSE RICH GUYS BLIND? ARE THEY LIKE HOWARD HUGES... AND ONLY SURROUND THEMSELVES WITH THE UPPER CLASSES AND CAN'T SEE THE COMMON PEOPLE? THE YOU'S AND THE I'S.... OF THIS WORLD, THIS COUNTRY THAT ARE IN NEED OF THEIR HELP, ....FIRST! We need health care, we need food, shelter, clothing, jobs that people in the United States with disabilities and born on the other side of the tracks need.... There is so much the Bill Gates of this world could do .... starting right here at home.
Some marvelous humanitarians could and would better direct their gifts if given the chance. Don't you think so? Granted, it is costly to set up order in any system and administration is expensive but wouldn't it be nice to shorten the distance so that the larger percentages get to "GO THE DISTANCE"?
Just, recently, I read about the wife of the McDonald's founder that left two hundred Million dollars ($200,000,000.00) to a radio station! Wonderful!.. but.. I'm sure you have heard plenty of stories like this. There are tons of them. It's simply that people would do better to help humanity, directly,.... yes? No? Maybe?
I'll bet there are times after hearing stories like the one above mentioned you may say in astonishment to yourself... "My goodness, just a pinch of that money could have saved my child's sight. Maybe, a little of that money could have prevented me from loosing my home. A small trickle of that would have allowed me to keep my business; saved me from credit card debt and bankruptcy; paid for my child to finish college. You know the young man or woman who wasn't athletic enough or smart enough to get a scholarship but smart enough that college would have meant the world to him/her as far as future job possibilities... Maybe, a few thousand of that could have gotten that operation for my beloved husband or wife!
Whether it be a child or an adult or a favorite pet that needs help,.... the "average American", often falls through the cracks! The average American struggles to survive. Our goal should be to "win", not just survive living!
Education, information, communication and blessed "niche helping" "bridge building" cooperation are the Keys to a successful society. Educate and "help", don't incarcerate desperate humanity that has gotten lost in the niche cracks. They were not poor enough for organizational help; and, not rich enough to bridge the rift themselves. Let's all work together to find solutions!
It would be great if a great country like the U.S.A. could provide a great education and great help for all these niche souls. But, maybe, this Web-site and ones like it are the answer. The government can't do everything.
We have people starving in this country, sleeping in the bushes just outside the extremely rich man's door, eating out of garbage cans.... I remember a Christmas poem my darlin' Grandmother, "Nelly", once told me... , (she was great at remembering the longest poems) ". She'd say, "Twas a beautiful Christmas morning! And, out on the new fallen snow... gay troups of light hearted children were frolicing to and fro.........then, she would continue, ..."one evening upon passing the rich man's door there you'd come to the tenament houses where dwelt the wretchedly poor... no candle light, no Christmas tree would light that parlor nor warm their plight, tonight", she'd say. Today, we don't have to go that far... do we? Some don't even have houses. Bushes and bags.. have evolved to suffice. (Wonder when they fell into the cracks?) "Niche Bridges" could save lives!
Hopefully, this Web-site is going to make a difference! You can be the difference! Save Broke Folks.com is my humble attempt to try to provide a meeting place for those that need to those that could help that need here in the U.S.A.!
When I build it, they will come..... Life is like a good baseball game. A good "TEAM" effort, ...... be sure to cover HOME base and you "WIN" the game every time!
